How do you price a move?
Local moves are billed by the hour (crew size + truck) from $115/hr, with an itemized written estimate up front. Long-distance moves are quoted by weight/volume and distance. No surprise travel fees at the curb.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We’re a licensed and insured South Carolina household-goods mover, and your belongings stay with our own crew, never a broker. Ask for our license and insurance details anytime, and we’ll walk you through valuation and coverage options before you book.
How far in advance should I book?
1–2 weeks for local moves, 3–4 weeks for long-distance or peak season, but same-week moves are often available, just call.
Do you handle HOA rules, lake homes, and gated communities?
Absolutely. We plan around Baxter Village and Tega Cay HOA move-in windows, gate check-ins on the Lake Wylie peninsula, and gate codes for Indian Land's new-build subdivisions so nothing stalls on move day.
Is a deposit required?
We take a small refundable deposit to hold your date, and it comes straight off your final bill. Cancel 48+ hours ahead and you get it back. Everything is spelled out in writing when you book, no money held hostage.
How and when do I pay?
You pay when the job is done, not before. We take all major cards, plus check or cash, and you sign off on the final total on site. No upfront payment beyond the small deposit that holds your date.
Do you expect a tip?
Tips are never expected and never added to your bill. If a crew went above and beyond, 10–15% split among them is typical in the Charlotte metro, cash or card. It’s always your call.
What won’t you move?
For safety and legal reasons we can’t take hazardous materials (propane, paint, chemicals, ammunition), perishable food, plants, or live animals. Tell us about anything unusual, oversized, or high-value up front so we plan the right crew and equipment.
